Company History
Planex Technik in Textil GmbH was founded 1974 in the German town of Mannheim. The company started as a craftsman's establishment and sold mostly standardized products. The company's activities focused on manufacturing and letting of protective tarpaulins.
In 1993, Planex moved to Ludwigshafen-Ruchheim. The new premises had generously laid out offices, production halls, and storage buildings and made possible a wider range of products. Through consequent market-orientation Planex emerged as an innovative company, developing new ideas and putting them into practice.
Services
As we design products, we commit ourselves to perfectly meeting your requirements. This is the reason why our products are not off-the-shelf. Instead, every product is custom-made. We choose the materials so that they meet the requirements of the intended application.
We push developments in the fields of textile sound insulation, textile facades and pneumatic products for industrial use. We test materials and develop new applications and manufacturing procedures in cooperation with manufacturers, suppliers and research assistants from universities.
